Phil Brucato, aka Satyr, sold his first pro story to Marion Zimmer Bradley back in 1989. That tale - “Elynne Dragonchild” in Sword & Sorceress IX – became the first of many. Known throughout the 1990s as part of White Wolf’s pack of leather-clad disreputables, Phil co-created the Mage, Sorcerers Crusade, Changeling and Vampire: The Dark Ages lines, contributing to over 80 books for that company. In 2001, he founded Laughing Pan Productions, authoring Deliria: Faerie Tales for a New Millennium, Everyday Heroes and Goblin Markets from 2003-2006. He’s also been a steady columnist for newWitch magazine, publishing short stories in venues like Weird Tales (“Ravenous”) and, most recently, Bad-Ass Faeries 2 (“Loopholes”). Satyr lives in Seattle now, and teaches storytelling, film and game design at that city’s Art Institute. Visit his blogs at http://satyrblade.livejournal.com and www.blogger.com/satyrblade
